Sunday School Pandemic Style

Sunday school is currently operating virtually. We will update this website when Sunday school resumes in person.

Every Sunday morning at 7 am, a video is posted to our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ReisterstownUnitedMethodistChurch/, with that week’s lesson. Through September 6, we are focusing on compassion and learning to love like God, using curriculum from Illustrated Ministry. The posted video can be accessed at any time to watch.

Each family that attends our church has received a “take out Sunday school box” with materials that go along with the lesson posted each Sunday, as well as some extra items and activities. If you would like to receive a box, please email Cara Norris at and we will arrange a way to get it to you. The boxes are designed for families to use together, and include discussion questions, a family activity, as well as a service project.

As part of our remote lessons, each week includes a “Flat Jesus Challenge”. You are encouraged to take a picture of Flat Jesus (included in the box) fulfilling that week’s challenge and post your photo to our Facebook page or on Instagram with the tag #rumcflatjesus.
